I’m excited that I’ve lost another pound since yesterday. That makes it a total of eight pounds I’ve lost since joining the rec center. Today I woke up late, and didn’t eat until 12:30 and I noticed that I was extremely hungry by then and ate four pieces of peanut butter toast. So I’ve learned I need to eat something as soon as I wake up so I don’t end up overeating for lunch. I did work out at the rec center and burned over 350 calories between the elliptical and treadmill. And tonight I went out to eat with Joe at the Haye Loft in Wall Lake and ate a grilled chicken sandwich plain and a tossed salad with fat free ranch. I was also proud of myself that I didn’t order pop and chose to order iced tea instead. And once that glass was empty I drank two glasses of water. I know that I really need to drink less diet pop and more water to keep myself hydrated. So all in all a good day!

Amanda and I went to work out today after skipping yesterday. I walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes and burned 390 calories. Yay! I didn’t have a pop today. Yay! And I lost 1.3 pounds since yesterday even though I didn’t work out yesterday. Also, I set up a sparkpeople account to keep track of my food intake.
Current weight- 309.1 pounds. Officially under 310!!!!

So tonight was the first night of the challenge. There are 6 people on our team, and we are competing against 2 other facilities. My team consists of all females, and they seem like a nice bunch of ladies. The challenge is to be the team that loses the most weight. We are able to access any of the programs that the rec center has, and we have a personal trainer. Almost all of the weight loss suggestions brought up tonight are ones that I have already implemented over the past week. My goal is still to cut out the pop, so tomorrow, I am going to go the whole day without a single can of soda.
Current weight- 310.3 pounds. Down 3.1 pounds since yesterday.
