In my previous post, you saw the results of week 5. The end of Week 6 on the diet and I have stuck to my guns. This was a standard week; I just keep doing what appears to be working. I stay to the diet and the daily routine and I keep losing weight. I am to the point now where it does not even really feel like a diet anymore. One of the challenges I had was to reprogram myself to eat differently. This is a complete lifestyle change for me and I really thought it would be a lot harder than it has been. I have successfully added the required exercise in to the diet program and it has now become a habit. By that, I mean you feel like you HAVE to work out and feel guilty when you do not.
I stuck to the diet and continued with the same foods that I have been from the past weeks. If it works, why not keep doing it.
The daily calories:
I stuck with the 200, 100, 200, 100, and 200-calorie counts with a daily average of 800 calories and 1000 calories on the days I worked out. I had an extra 200 calories on the days I worked out in order to offset the calories I burned. This was in the form of lean protein, most of the time chicken breasts or something else that is lean protein. I have purchase some whey protein to help with replacing calories after working out.
This was 7 days of the phase 2 diet with veggies w/ non-fat salad dressing. Weight lost for the week 4 pounds

- Weight: 271.8

The results to date:
So far, I have lost a total of 37 pounds in six weeks on the diet. I keep progressing very well on this diet. 37 pounds in six weeks is no small feat, I am on track to lose 100lbs in less than six months. Once I reach around the 240 mark, I will start using my new home workout program that just came in the mail today. I have read many good reviews about it and have fallen for the infomercial hype. We will see if I can balance the medical weight loss program with P90X. Let us see how I do in week 7. 🙂
